The food was amazing, and our server Bobby delivered outstanding service. However, I was very disappointed with the state of the women's restroom; it had a very unpleasant odor and was quite dirty. The toilet bowl, both inside and out, clearly hadn’t been cleaned in months, and the floors desperately needed a good scrub, especially in the corners. This is the first time here. It was recommended by my stepdaughter. It was very good. The prices were reasonable and the shares were right. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat anything I have. The fried rolls we have were so hot. From the oven. DELICIOUS!!! We celebrated our 20th anniversary! We'll be back next time!! Ps... our server was Chase!! Great guy!
My husband and I first visited today. (We are not from Denison We were a little after 10:30 and it was pretty busy, but we set ourselves fast. We got some free rolls with butter. They were fresh. The interior was soft and warm. I ordered fried green tomatoes for a starter( I always wanted to try them and I warns disappointed! They were nice and crispy, not mushy at all. They had a bite. It came with Avocado Ranch, who was surprisingly delicious. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, broccoli rice casserole and garlic potatoes with white engraving. Drinking was just a soda. The chicken fried chicken was crispy outside, delicate inside. The potatoes were creamy and the Broccoli rice caserole was very tasteful. My husband ordered a sweet tea with lemon, the chicken roasted brisket, loaded potato and a salad. He gave me a taste of his food. In the picky with my sweet tea and usually not order when in a restaurant because its always too sweet, but here it was just perfect. Only the Righr quantity of sweetness. The chicken frying was first for us. It was beautiful and crispy on the outside, the interior was soft and not dry at all. Has great taste. The salad was a good size. I'm not sure if they do theirbown crutons or not, but that was the favorite party of the salad. Overall, everything exceeded expectations. If you don't eat here, I would definitely recommend it!
Let me just say this first: my server, Chase, was absolutely amazing! He has a great energy and is very attentive and helpful! Great job!! Texas born and Texas proud, Cotton Patch Cafe has been in business for more than 30 years.. the food isusually pretty good. Tonight was a little different. I started with the brisket queso and chips.. it was delicious! QuesoBlanco with a bit of brisket and a drizzle of barbecue sauce.. it was excellent! Then I had the Shiner Bock beer battered fishand chips. In true pub food fashion, the three fish filets were thickly battered and fried... but they were a little over doneand tasted burnt. Caesar salad was perfect! Fresh and crisp with just the right amount of dressing.. Probably won't do seafoodnext time. I'll just stick to the favorites..
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and it was recommended by my stepdaughter. I had a great experience! The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were perfect. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish everything I ordered. The buttered buns we had were incredibly hot, straight out of the oven—absolutely delicious! We were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and we will definitely return next time we're in the area. By the way, our server was Chase—he was fantastic!
