This is the way a sub should taste. Years ago I was working downtown and the guys sent out for subs from the OLD Gonella's. I went to the store once and, being Italian, was overjoyed at the sights and smells of this store. Gonella sold this store and when I returned, it wasn't the same. I have been a customer for many many years. On, July 17, 2023, I ordered 3 subs. I ordered extra lettuce on all of them. When we started eating them, we noticed that some of the shredded lettuce was rotten.
