The Old Yard Tapas Bar offers distinct vegan menus for both tapas and lunch options. I tried the beetroot salad, patatas aioli, and boorekakia. The patatas were delicious, and the salad was enjoyable, but I wasn't a fan of the boorekakia as it was quite disappointing, especially since I don’t like vegan cheese. The staff were friendly, but the building could use some TLC and had an unpleasant smell. View all feedback.
What H4241GHdennish dislikes about Tapas:
Me and two old friends chose the tapas bar for lunch.. It was for a catch up and a social meeting. We ordered about 9 different tapas. None of the dishes were exceptional.. But mainly OK. I do have a very nice glass of French wine though View all feedback.
Sunny day in the sun drinking with friends. Tapas was excellent, tasted lovely with great service and staff.
We only had one night in Darlington as it was a stop of on our holiday and so we could only book one meal but we sure did book a great place. The menu is very diverse with plenty of choice for all tastes, the food was extremely tasty and bursting with flavour and of high quality the prices were average but we got excellent food and excellent service the waiting staff were incredibly helpful and helped us a lot as one of our party had an unusual allergy, its obvious that the staff here really care about their customers and will go above and beyond to make the diners have a pleasant experience, the only downside is the room at the back of the restaurant is very echoey and it only took a couple of loud diners on nearby tables to make the background sound very piecing, I would definitely recommend some sound diffuser blocks on the wall in this room, apart from this everything was pretty much perfect.
Friendly helpful staff, food to stuff yourself silly with . Every dish i had was lovely and yes i did stuff my self (10 dishes later) i was rolled out the door stuffed
