I visited this fish market for the first time looking for grilled fish. I asked the person cooking behind the counter if they had blue grenadier, but they looked at me like I was speaking a different language. When I asked about dory, they didn't have that either. I had a fish cocktail that was advertised for $1.20, but when I paid, I was charged $1.50. When I questioned it, I was told it was from the old menu as they were new owners. The fish used was basa fillet, as we were in a fish market, but it was small and very greasy. It was the greasiest piece of batter I have ever seen. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I couldn't believe it when they admitted they didn't like fish or know much about it. I was so frustrated and disappointed that I decided not to waste any more time there. It was a ridiculous experience and I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.
I went to purchase squid tubes, but they were still displayed frozen. I requested thawed tubes because frozen food weighs more than thawed food due to the water content. I brought this to the attention of the server and he agreed with me. I asked why they were selling frozen tubes, as it seemed like they were taking advantage of customers. The server explained that they sell quickly. I decided not to buy seafood from there in the future.
Since Change of ownership it has changed and not for good, fish is not fresh, shop is not clean. I witnessed a lady talking rudely to staff, I overheard her refusing a legal break to a staff member. I received poor service, I felt as if I was a inconvenience to their business. I went in to purchase flathead and ended up walking out when the shop had a smell and I was waiting for 10 minutes whilst workers chatted. There was large chucks of fish with no ice. I am really disappointed as i was excited to what a change of ownership would bring to this business.
