The Mitchell emerges as a unique culinary destination that blends a relaxed atmosphere with innovative cocktails and exceptional cuisine. While some patrons encountered service hiccups, the majority were impressed by the attentive staff and the creative, vibrant menu featuring delights like bone marrow and frog legs. The bar's cocktail selection, praised for its stunning presentation, wowed many, though others felt the flavors lacked depth. With a cozy ambiance reminiscent of favorite New York haunts, The Mitchell captivates diners with its inviting environment, making it a worthy choice for both drink aficionados and food lovers alike.
Frog legs, oysters, craft cocktails and delicious pasta dishes. Possibly best cuisine DDT!
Perfect spot for Dallas downtown mixology’s. Great menu and music flows likes a very good old fashion. *The bartender was very distant to us, maybe they don’t want interact with Mexican people.
Went during happy hour and it was definitely a chill vibe. Dwight is a phenomenal bartender, very attentive and inviting and the drinks were very delicious
This place is an amusement park for your taste buds. Just like all amusement parks, you're going to be waiting a little bit in between rides, but that's ok it's worth it. Hands down one of the best cocktails and food I've had in Dallas. Oysters, bonemarrow, frogs legs, steak tartare and a handful of custom cocktails made for such an enjoyable evening with friends.
Walked in and asked for a beer. The bartender said ?we?re a cocktail bar, you want a beer, go next door?. I own restaurants so I found this comical. I said ?okay, I?ll take a bourbon smash?. The bartender (in his completely empty bar on a Friday night) said?I have some dead mint right there, you can?t have that?. He again suggested I go elsewhere. To ownership- find a bartenderthat doesn?t literally SUGGEST your paying customers go elsewhere because he?s too pretentious to be hospitable. Shame onyou? Plenty of other options that have an ounce of energy and a bartender that?s willing to do his job instead of pretend to bea cool hipster and make $20 a night.
