I love this place and go out of my way to get here. I love the white shake, the raw cakes, and raw vegan truffles!!!!
Not much food selection unless you get in at open and if you just want a dark roast they don't have it. Ended up getting the brew coffee and it tasted very acidic and not good. If you want real coffee go to dazbog. Everyone saying go to Starbucks don't like real coffee obviously.
Joad is a great Barista! Very knowledgeable about the benefits of the different ingredients in the shakes. Try the Almond croissant!Also, nice to have charging stations built into the banquet seating.
I used to frequent this coffee shop since it's conveniently located next to my apartment, but I won't be returning after seeing signs on their doors stating that only paying customers can have water. It's always around 100°F outside, and they won't even provide free water to those in need, including homeless individuals in the area. I live nearby as well, and while I understand the desire to keep Victory Park safe, this shouldn't come at the cost of denying people a basic necessity. This approach is not good for business; they should consider showing a little more compassion instead.
This restaurant has generous opening hours, serves house-made syrups, and offers excellent prices. The atmosphere is relatively calm, making it a great spot for working or studying, and the staff is outstanding. There's nearby parking available for $5.80. I ordered a vanilla oat milk latte, which was under $6, but it was just average. The coffee leaned towards the lighter side and the syrup was not very sweet, although I believe they would add more syrup if asked. Due to the parking situation, I might not return, but overall, it's a solid establishment.
