Ice cream!!! A pretty good menu with all the goodies including the classic chocolate soda (which so many places look at me like I have a 3rd eyeball when asking if they carry it). They have some pretty good food options now also with fries and BLT's being our go to. The owners are super friendly and you can tell they really appreciate their customers and people in general! Sad. great ice and a great environment. I wish I had pics, but I had to mix up with my vanilla chocolate wire-waffle cone and make my sohn with his chocolate drip, vanilla chocolate swirl ice cream cone a swarm of itself. sitting outside without hitting the sun down, melting their favourites
It's okay. I ordered two small cones with folds for my children and a big one for me. I thought they'd mix them together because the small cones with sprinkles were bigger than the big ones. when I asked if that was correct, the girl replied that looks small, but I didn't manage to mess with someone, they should have offered me a real cone.
July 2021: The design and layout is cool and nostalgic of the old school ice cream parlors. The staff are polite and courteous. I ordered a cherry lime shake and they forgot to add the syrup because it tasted like a plain ol' soft serve vanilla shake. I was already down the road when I had realized it so turning back was not a desirable option. I'll give them another shot sometime this summer to raise my review score.
Bought a regular sized sundae for $4 and it came in a kiddie cup! My order was a hot Carmel sundae add pineapple...I got a pineapple sundae with barely any Carmel. Will NEVER go back there at those prices. Mello creme IS THE place to go. I paid $3.75 for a regular sundae and it was served in a 20oz. cup. #LessonLearned.
We go to DG's 3-4 times a week.. could not even begin to think of what summer would be like without this place! Hot summer nights, ice cream, chilli dogs, slushys, shakes.. never, never had a bad anything there! Hard working staff that is friendly. Absolutely love this place!
