At the back, there's a spacious and clean restaurant with plenty of room to unwind. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to lend a hand. The food is exceptional, whether you're visiting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My personal favorite breakfast dish is the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich—I loved it so much that I ended up having two! For lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong with the hamburger, mad... What Kaitlyn Smitham dislikes about Blacks Camp:
The service at this restaurant was truly disappointing. We arrived and seated ourselves, but we waited for 10 to 15 minutes without anyone attending to us. After that long wait, we made the decision to leave. It would have been helpful if there had been a sign on the door notifying us of any delays, but there was nothing. No one communicated with us at all. We won't be coming back to this restaurant. View all feedback.
I just left this restaurant today! I really enjoyed the delicious food and the friendly service. The place has been renovated since my last visit. I really love coming here.
We came here to put our boat in to head to Charleston. The place was very well maintained and clean bathroom. All the staff were very friendly. Wouldn't mind trying to camp here and would definitely come back for boating.
Absolutely beautiful and I caught the sh out of some catfish. One was like 20lbs. My fiance caught one that weighed in at 22lbs. Loved it! Definitely will return.
Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. At the restaurant, our waiter seemed grumpy and rushed to leave us even while we were still ordering, despite the fact that we were the only patrons there. The cashier at the front desk made no effort to make eye contact or engage with customers, often walking away when spoken to. When I needed help finding something, I ended up figuring it out on my own. The housekeeping was also disappointing. We hung out the "make our room" sign twice, but the first day our card disappeared. After I got a new one and put it out again, I found it on the floor later. I thought maybe it had blown away, but when my husband needed toilet paper, I went to the housekeeper. After I thanked her for bringing some, she responded with, "Well, I appreciate a dollar." The next day, the sign was again on the floor, and the towels we had used were simply hung on the door. After a week at the lake, it was quite unpleasant to realize our sheets hadn't been changed, and we were left with a dirty bed. I would have changed them myself if I'd known housekeeping was contingent on tips. I usually tip at the end of my stay, based on the quality of service I receive. We visit this place every year and hope for a better experience with housekeeping in the future. On a positive note, the owner was very nice and did his best to assist us at the beginning of our stay, and he was easy to find if we needed him. Overall Service: 1 out of 5.

The food is exceptional, whether you're visiting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My personal favorite breakfast dish is the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich—I loved it so much that I ended up having two! For lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong with the hamburger, made from a half-pound of hand-patted beef, which ranks among the best burgers I've ever tasted. I also sampled the fried flounder, which was wonderfully light, flaky, and crispy. With a boat ramp out front, a campground, and a motel on-site, Black's Camp offers everything you need for an ideal lakeside getaway. Fishing, lodging, dining—what more could you want? Service: 5
