a decent pub with a beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff and good eating. I would have preferred the possibility of a good rump or Sirloin steak instead of the minute steak or overpriced rib eye £31.50) on the menu. The food was enjoyable, especially the pies, which were delicious, although they were served with a rather unusual gravy. The prices were reasonable. Overall, the service was decent, but we experienced a few instances where we had to wait for a while.
