At KFC in Crestview, customer experiences vary significantly. Just like other drive-thrus, the person taking my order managed to mess it up. I ordered two #2 meals, requesting that one of the mashed potatoes be replaced with coleslaw, and I also ordered a Dr Pepper and unsweetened tea. It seemed like a simple request, but instead of making the change, they replaced both mashed potatoes with coleslaw and didn’t add ice to the unsweetened tea. This was my experience in Crestview, Florida.
I ordered the 5-piece chicken tender big box meal, which came with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and prompt. However, the restaurant's ambiance could use some improvement; the booth had some rips in the upholstery, and the buffet was closed with food containers still sitting out. Additionally, I witnessed an incident where a customer in front of me didn't receive his meal because his order ticket had been misplaced, but they quickly prepared his food when he presented the ticket. Overall, I had a pleasant experience, but I believe the restaurant would benefit from some renovations and better management of orders.
Like any typical drive-thru experience, the person taking my order managed to get it wrong. The experience was truly disappointing. I realize now that I should have double-checked my order, which is on me. However, it's clear that your staff could use a major overhaul. I'm even open to working part-time to help ensure orders are accurately fulfilled—it shouldn't be this challenging. Regarding the shortage of dark meat chicken, it might be helpful to prepare more in advance or inform customers to expect a wait if it's low in stock. I would have willingly waited. At least the potatoes and corn were correct, which reassured me that I had received my order.
I waited over 20 minutes for tea, and when our food finally arrived, it tasted like it had been sitting out all day. To make things worse, while I was waiting, the staff, including the manager, was unprofessional, gossiping about coworkers and using inappropriate language. I won't be returning and definitely do not recommend this restaurant!
