I came here with my mum last evening week and she was very disappointed with the shepherd’s pie, not enough mince and too many peas. We mentioned this to the waitress and the manager came over to apologise, but my mum was happy she had told her and didn’t want anything to compensate. Great service, good value pub duve, fun atmosphere. a good mix of old, a real community pub, unfortunately not many left.
I found this here for lunch to be an occult place, nothing special..tried fish n chips found them to be too oily and expensive. not sure if I'm going back.
Love this place so glad it’s our local! Great choice of food and desserts and also cocktails. Child friendly and always a warm welcome. Great pub quiz on a Sunday too. I can highly recommend the chargrilled veg linguini! It’s advisable to book if it’s a Friday or Saturday though as it can get really busy. Nice atmosphere.
