visited the crucibles on Mother's Day with my parents, men and teens. the service was friendly and fast. we had all lunches and it was delicious. the portions were generous and everything on the plate was on the square. Although we were all filled, we all made a pudding that was also beautiful. it was also a good value for money and dog friendly. would definitely recommend. View all feedback.

The food was very enjoyable (despite my rare steak being a little over medium) Unfortunately, the landlady was at best "standoffish... bordering RUDE. The pub has a clear clique of locals who gather around the bar and get/expect preferential treatment.
