What a wonderful discovery. Dimitri's is actually in Summerstown.They have a huge terasse right on the shore of the St Lawrence. You can even park your boat on-site and have a quick snack. Food is delicious. Price is very reasonable. They have a superb variety of food : Pizza, Pasta, Seafood, Burgers, Wraps. They have great selection of imported and domestic beers plus Pina Coladas, Mojitos, etc. View all feedback.

Servers were welcoming and friendly and setting was lovely however food was mediocre at best. Dinner menu was fine but not great. Found something in pizza, staff said it was wood from a skewer. Staff were apologetic and made attempts to remedy situation by offering other menu items on the house and did not charge us for the item. Would not recommend if as price did not match quality. Aweful food, terrible service and when you complain to the owner he argues with you. Gave it 3 tries and always the same bad experience.
Not authentic greek food. It was mediocre at best. If you want REAL greek food go to toronto or montreal.
A recent visit to Dimitri's left me with the notion that some businesses are not willing to capitalize on peak season for their industry. Dimitri's is one such case that seems more intent on driving away customers vice filling their restaurant. I drove from Ottawa to meet with some other family members to celebrate a birthday. When I arrived (with 3 other people), we were greeted and advised that there was no space for 12 people in the restaurant. The only viewable seats at that time were on the outdoor patio. We were advised that the wait could be up to one hour, but there was no guarantee that a group of 12 could be accommodated. A shirt time later, I went inside the restaurant to use the washroom and the interior of the restaurant was completely empty. I'm of the opinion that if you are turning away people, won't accept reservations and are not willing to let people sit inside an empty restaurant, you're in the wrong business. I ordered the chicken souvlaki plate which included a Greek salad. The souvlaki was heavily marinated, chewy and overcooked. The Greek salad was decent enough, but there was slight confusion with the starch. Namely, I ordered French fries and potatoes, but only received potatoes. The fries were brought later. Overall, if you're looking for a place to sit by the water, this might be the ideal setting for you. Arrive well in advance (or well beyond) regular supper hours and you will likely find a table. Keep your expectations low and the food might surprise you.
On Election day, I returned to Dimitri's and was surprised to see the famous Chef Emeril Legasse visiting and interviewing the owner for the Travel Network's Food Paradise TV Show. A truly exciting experience! Marc D.
Food is not consistent or I would of scored this place higher. On my last visit I had their chicken pita platter on the terrace. The restaurant was busy enough 3/4 of the tables were taken.It was a beautiful day on the water.I might be fussy but I hate biting into fat especially in 2 pieces of my chicken. Yuk kind of ruined my meal. However the time before that visit I had the same meal and it was much better.Only pet pev I have with this place is that the owner stands on the terrace micro managing his staff and he does not come off as approach able. He comes off as mean and that is why I didnt complain about my meal.Smile life is good.
