Boatyard Eats - Cornelius
Boatyard Eats
Menu
The restaurant from Cornelius offers 59 different menus and drinks on the menu for an average price of $7.7.
Perched with a hipster beer-garden vibe, this music-forward spot shines for lively bartenders and dependable live shows but disappoints on value and food. Steep $15 cocktails, a cover charge and a $5 door surcharge for late buyers make nights pricey. Crowded parking, subpar restrooms, occasional billing errors and brusque closing procedures detract from the experience. Best for live-music and nightlife fans who prioritize atmosphere and drinks over dining and budget-friendly service.

What Mark M dislikes about Boatyard Eats:
Food was absolutely horrible overpriced!!!Security and staff was very intimidating and rude at closing.Basically forced us out the door without any warning. Parking lot was full by 7pm, and the bathroom situation is a nightmare! The music, atmosphere, and bartenders where great though.Parking: Too any cars View all feedback.
After a whole year, I’ve noticed that many reviews highlight issues with the bathrooms inside, and unfortunately, the situation is no better outside. It would be great to see more restrooms available for those willing to spend their money here! Additionally, relocating the indoor stage could really help open up the space. Finding parking can be a challenge, but once you’re inside, it’s actually a nice venue.
We primarily visit for the live music. Unfortunately, the food doesn't impress. Given that they have an entrance fee, you would expect the dining experience to be better. Additionally, it's frustrating that online ticket sales close at 5 PM, leaving us to pay an extra $5 at the door. This seems unnecessary. As a result, we’ve stopped considering this place for last-minute outings. It feels unfair to charge customers more when they arrive.

This place is an excellent spot for live music and cold drinks. The staff is very friendly, and I will definitely return. Food rating: 5/5.
The food was ok. Atmosphere was pretty good. Service was ok until I figured out a couple days later they charged me twice. My bill was about $100 after more than 20% tip. After a few days I noticed on my account they took the $100 but also took $36. I waited about a week to see if it would drop off and never did. My suggestion is if you go there to take cash and that way they can’t charge your account extra money.
