Feedback
Choplin's presents a dining experience marked by exceptional food and a charming atmosphere, often delighting patrons with flavorful dishes and creative cocktails. Many guests rave about standout items like the homemade desserts and well-prepared entrees, such as baked cod and chicken marsala. However, inconsistent service has marred some visits, with reports of long waits and overwhelmed staff. While the ambiance is enjoyable, a few diners noted the need for better management responsiveness. Despite occasional service hiccups, Choplin's remains a beloved spot, enticing guests to return for its culinary delights. Reservations and patience are advised.
I had my wedding dinner at Choplins which I made months in advance. It took over an hour to get seated. The manager did nothing but give excuses. She was very defensive which we thought was unprofessional. Everyone ordered the same steak the ribeye and mine came out as a New York strip. Again the manager just gave excuses and said they were all the same. Iâm from Texas and I know the difference. I was very disappointed in how we were treated. And the worse part is that it was my wedding day.
It was decent place for my birthday. eating was okay, but could have been better. I think I have to go a second time to give it another chance.
Eating was amazing! I recommend the lamb chops delicious and eat a lot. it was enough for two meals.
This place deserves 10 stars. The atmosphere was quite, romantic, and just what we were looking for. The music choice seemed to come straight from our play list. Elizabeth spoke to us straight from the heart. We felt like we knew her for years. She showedso much patience when answering all our questions. She listened to what we wanted and made great suggestions. We can not wait toreturn and bring friends.
My fiancé and I read a lot about this restaurant and we were excited to hear how this is a local chef in what was to be a more upscale dining experience. We were surprised to see that this restaurant was in a strip mall. So, it was not really what weexpected from the start and it only kept disappointing from there. The highlights of the meal as a whole was the drinks, thesalmon, and the French onion soup. We started with the French Onion Soup and the Crab and Artichoke dip. The onion soup wasgreat, but the Crab Artichoke dip was bland with no taste of crab at all. It could have just been an artichoke dip only and wewould have never known. Those tables around us got bread and butter served to their tables, but our server neglected to bringthese to our table. It would have been nice to have with the French Onion Soup. We waited about 20-minutes to get our dinnerserved, but it was incomplete to start. My fiancé got the Salmon which she said tasted really good. I ordered the steak withspinach and green beans. I asked for a balsamic vinegar for the spinach and my green beans were delayed. The steak was tenderbut it could have been seasoned more. We both noticed that the food presentation was absolutely missing. It was just plain. Mygreen beans came very late in the meal along with my balsamic although they gave to me a balsamic glaze when I asked forbalsamic vinegar. I tried it with the cooked spinach and it was horrible. So, it went untouched. Our server was missing for mostof the meal and we waited quite some time for her to return. I wanted to order another drink, but that never happened. We waitedand waited to pay while those table around us left and were reseated. I asked the hostess if I get my server and about 5-7minutes later the hostess returned and said that she could not get the attention of my server. She offered to us a free desertwhich was nice but we do not eat desserts so we declined. She eventually returned with our check after we asked for
