Located in midst of Cordoba's old Jewish quarter, this restaurant offers seating in a very nice open courtyard a must in this often sweltering town. The food, composed mainly of small dishes, is tasty, and the service very friendly. Now how do they serve both kosher and non kosher food? Very simple, the way airlines do. You can tell immediately when you look at the menu that Mazal is NOT a kosher restaurant they have jamon on the menu. Other than that, they make an effort to distinguish the dishes as Sepharad or Spanish Jewish. The only distinctive connection is the presence of Matzoh in the Bread plate.
