What User dislikes about Kitchen:
when we arrived in the restaurant, we got free starters that were nice, but two of us were vegetarian and couldn't eat them, as all of them passed a kind of meat or fish. I think the waitress should have asked if we were vegetarian. later we decided to go with two green curs menus and two regular cursor menus after we have seen the menu on the restaurant website. the green menu was very different. each meal included... Restaurant is cozy and the ambience is quite calm with nice view to the gardens. Staff was kind and professional but lacked a bit of spark. Food was 3 of 5, very creative but lacking depth and concentration in flavor. Beetroot Wellington was mediocre, not to the standard of a Michelin star at all. Also, no petits fours served at the end of meal, very strange…and no effort despite I specified it was my partners birthday.
It has been really a great evening. Food is superlative, from the starters to dessert and the service is at the same level. For sure an experience to repeat again in the future.
This visit was for the honey moon with my wife it was a great experience and delicious food, i would like to thank the chef because he was so generous
A more modern ambience, the experience at the Kitchen is a journey through uncommon dishes and wine. We learned from talking with the wait staff that the chef has been there 6 years and earned the Michelin star in 2020. The staff work together flawlessly to bring a high level of attention to each guest while you dine. My wife and elected for the “Experience” tasting menu which had five courses and included their signature ravioli dish. To be frank, this would have been the 3rd time in one week where ravioli was part of my dining. However, the firmness of the noodle, the combination of tart, savory, salty, acidic, and sweet made for the most impressive bite of the night. Even the wine pairing brought out some of the finer qualities of the specialty dish. I think the foie gras left a little to be desired with the meat main course (an added richness to an already rich dish and rich sauce), the overall tasting menu was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the Como and Cernobbio area.
