I just moved to the Commerce area and was looking for a good bakery to make my son's 5th birthday cake. I stumbled upon Lake's cakes Google page and was not disappointed. Everyone at my son's party, were astonished over how great the cake looked and tasted! Best cake around hands down and the professionalism of getting exactly what I wanted was great! I ordered a cake from Lakes Cakes for my sons 16th birthday. They did an amazing job and the cake was delicious! We will be getting our cakes from here from now on!
We ordered 48 mini pastries and they were all delicious and incredibly sweet! They were a huge hit at my sister's graduation. The ordering and pickup process was easy and convenient. We will definitely be ordering again in the future!
Very disappointed about the cake I bought for birthday. no great taste and did not like the frosting. the decoration was nothing special. was very surprised after all good reports.
I had a last-minute request for a cake the day before my event, and Lakes Cakes exceeded my expectations. I sent them a picture and requested an adjustment, and they had it ready the next day. The Red Velvet cake with Buttercream icing not only looked amazing but tasted delicious as well. Thanks to Lakes Cakes, my daughter's 21st birthday was a sweet success. I highly recommend Lakes Cakes for all your bakery needs!
Our wedding cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious. We had about 70 less people come to our wedding than originally expected, but we didn 't change the cake order, because we had already paid and the prices were very reasonable, so we figured we 'd just deal with the extra cake. That 's what we thought, at least. But at the end of the night, the only thing left was our small wedding cake (purposely saved for us). 70 extra cupcakes were GONE. That 's how good they were!!! Heidi is now our go to for any cake related occasion.
