Was dejahvu at Dusters a mag?
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is exquisite and fairly priced, and our host was truly the kindest person. You simply must try the sweet potato fries. I also had the pasta with a Swiss cheese sauce, which is something I can only find here! It's definitely worth the hour-long drive from my home. The ambiance is lovely, featuring high ceilings, columns, and beautiful murals. The restroom is spotless and ha... View all feedback.
What Tyler Carey dislikes about Dusters:
EDITED: i called as requested and left my info. Normally we have a good experience at Dusters. Last night I brought my family out and we did not have a good time. We only saw a total of 3 tables sat in the dining area other than our table of 5. It took over an hour to get our food, and 2 of us ordered ribeyes that I'd swear were boiled. There was no seasoning and the meat was gray in color and tasted watery. My steak... View all feedback.
So far not a bad thing to say about them. Everything has been top notch so far. Expansive menu with really intriguing stuff.
Great food, decent root beer, not great service. Long wait for the check. Overall, pretty okay.
The food was good, the staff was friendly and helpful, the craft beers were tasty and the price was great for the amount and drinks I ordered.
My Burger was burnt, our server was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I understand the kitchen was closing early, however it does not justify the behavior. Refills were not offered, and our server crumpled up our ticket after requesting a second glass of wine. This is your last one since were closing she stated in a very unprofessional tone. I was asked if I needed a to-go box, I simply stated I wasn 't going to eat my burnt food, she grabbed my receipt without an ounce of empathy, and removed the burger off the bill. with no apology whatsoever. I spoke with the owner regarding the service and was promised a certificate-that was ten days ago, still no certificate.
Server was awesome she recognized us and served us right away the horsdoeuvre salads and soup came out fast. An hour for medium rare(MR) prime and MR ribeye. The ribeye came out as welldone (ordered MR) and the prime(ordered MR) was extra rare, cold and chewy. Cut of meat was a select cut (lowest grade) with aujus that tasted like flour. Was supposed to have rice pilaf and it was a cup of microwaved rice. Picture is from what was left.
