I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant due to a rude server who denied me a sample, even though he was offering them to others. He claimed it was because I hadn’t made a purchase, which is not accurate. I live nearby and visit the mall regularly, often dining at various eateries, including this one. I've been a regular at this restaurant for about 15 years now. When they first opened, they used to prepare a fresh vegan option for me alongside their tofu eggplant dish, and I would come in at least once a week. Over the years, I've noticed some changes, but I've continued to support the place. However, recently, I've experienced a significant decline in both service and generosity. I've recognized the same staff members for the past 5 to 7 years, but the atmosphere has shifted. They now serve minimal portions, particularly with the tofu meals, and there’s a noticeable lack of customer service. I don't plan to return until there's a change in management, which I hope happens soon!
The only positive aspect of this food court counter is the generous portion size. Unfortunately, that's where the good things end. I ordered the curry-flavored angel hair pasta, which was forgettable at best. The chicken was so heavily coated that the breading stuck to my teeth like stale candy, and I could barely find the chicken beneath it. The shrimp was similarly coated and lacked any flavor. I typically take leftovers home to enjoy later, but this time they went straight to the trash. I'm really disappointed.
