Every time we have been, the staff is super friendly, food was that down home good to your soul feeling food! Most recently took my kids for morning breakfast and it was my daughter 's 12th Birthday, she ordered a giant cinnamon roll and they brought it out with a candle and we quietly sang happy birthday with the waitress, you know because a pre-teen gets a lil embarrassed, LOL! The food is great, but you could get that anywhere to be honest. I think the environment is more important in places like this. When people walk in and the waitresses smile and say things like where did you go, I haven't seen you since before Christmas you know this is a place you could go every week and feel at home.
