My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Bannisters Restaurant, situated inside Boundary Mill, on Monday, October 4th, 2021. My partner and I visited Bannisters for lunch yesterday, Thursday, April 7th, before exploring the area. We were incredibly impressed as soon as we walked in! The greeting was both efficient and friendly. The entire restaurant was spotless, and after guests left their tables, they were thoroughly cleaned. All the staff were cheerful, friendly, and worked very hard. I had the poached salmon open sandwich, which was beautiful and very fresh. My partner enjoyed the cheesecake and absolutely loved it! I dined at the restaurant today with my husband and mother-in-law. While I admired the presentation of the food, I was taken aback when my mother-in-law's meal was served. The fish was very small, resembling more of a child's portion. At a price of £9.95, it felt unfairly priced for the portion size. Overall, I left feeling disappointed.

The restaurant itself was spotless, with tables being cleaned and sanitized quickly after guests left, which was a refreshing change from some other places where dirty tables are often left unattended for too long. A big thumbs up to everyone at Bannisters Restaurant!
The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making us look forward to our next visit!
