I decided to stop by Sammy's II for an impromptu dinner, and as always, both the service and food were excellent. Our server even recognized my wife from our visits to the original Sammy's. The Tagliatelle Bolognese was delicious and filling, while the duck ravioli was just as amazing as I remembered. Overall, fantastic service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. I'm not usually fussy about food, but this meal was disappointing. The pasta was mediocre and not worth the price. My husband ordered the shrimp pasta, and for $27, it came in a bowl that was only half full, with just three small shrimp on top. We were really let down.
