Interesting cafe set up. Lots of different tables and chairs. Very cosy for most of it.Food came out relatively quick considering how busy they were. Staff were really friendly.Friends enjoyed their meals and plates were empty so that's always a good sign.My burger was tasty and had some interesting flavours. I contacted you this morning spoke with a Bianca and was gobsmacked at how impolite and rude she was on the phone! I understand you're under the pump but under no circumstances is one to be made feel the way your staff did to me. Simple phone manners like good how are you ? How can I be of assistance to you ? Thoroughly enjoyed morning tea at The Boot Factory from the friendly welcome and excellent service with a smile to the delicious and beautifully presented apple & rhubarb cupcake and coffee. The Boot Factory decor exudes atmosphere and is light and airy; also has a comfortable outdoor eating area which would be great on a summers day.
The Boot Factory café is always busy and so it should be, with a great variety of quality food and rustic setting, inside or out, topped with wonderfull staff who will do anything for you with big smiles.
Have been to this place about a dozen times. Never disappoints. Staff genuinely nice. Place has a good vibe. Doesn't try to be trendy. Great food and sensible portion sizes. Good variety. Good for any time of the day. Coffee is very good. Chai too sweet. Great for having a meal on your own or going with the family. You won't feel like a freak if you go on your own (yes, it feels like that when you go to some places). Highly recommended!
The Boot Factory is very popular with locals for brunch and lunch. We went for brunch on a Sunday. We were greeted immediately and the service was quick and friendly. Coffees were good and the chai latte was exceptional. All the standard foods were available as well as specials, but the great thing was being able to order exactly what we wanted with a good range of sides available at different price points. The food was well cooked and tasty. We booked, but the café is quite large and able to accommodate quite a few people. The Pentridge site has a lot of history - a book on the old gaol was available to read as well as free newspapers. On-street parking is available. Very enjoyable.
