The reviews for this Quebec restaurant offer a mix of experiences. While some found the food to be delicious, others were disappointed. The breakfast dishes were lacking in presentation and flavor, while the lunch and dinner options received better feedback. The service was a point of concern for some diners, with long wait times reported. However, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff added to the overall experience. With menus mostly in French, communication could be a challenge for non-French speakers. In summary, the restaurant offers a mixed bag of dining experiences, with both positives and negatives to consider.

Was Octavia Jacobson at Jack-O a mag?
Not speaking French, it was a challenge finding a restaurant for lunch. Saw the sign and several people inside. Waitress came over and naturally addressed us in French. As soon as she saw my dumbfounded loo2, she made a strong attempt to accommodate us.A Chicken Kebab as well as Filet Kabob were ordered.Good took some time to be brought to table, but 100% worth the wait.Generous portions, prepared to perfection. What Tiara Wehner dislikes about Jack-O:
This is the third Jack'o that we visit in as many weeks, and most certainly the last one. We ordered the spinach eggs benedict and the apple omelet. The eggs benedict dish looks like it was thrown together quickly. The presentation was nothing to be proud of. The cold spinach leaves laid on top of the barely cooked eggs, which were placed on half English muffins smothered with a tasteless sauce that had little to do... View all feedback.

Meal was fantastic, generous portions, cooked to perfection, and reasonable prices. What more is there?
Stopped in for a burger and steamed veggies. Burger was huge served with yummy gravy though bun was stale. Veggies were great and more than I could eat. Menus mostly in French. Well .... it is Quebec!
It's the entry level restaurant. The dishes are clean. The food is correct, at the very best. There is service at your table, which is present but a little bit too casual and friendly if you get what I mean.
Tucked away in this location is a hidden gem. We enjoyed an early dinner at this restaurant and found the food to be delicious. The service was also friendly and accommodating. Despite its small size, this diner has a lot to offer.
My family and I visited this charming diner for a delicious breakfast during our stay in the area for Foresta Lumina. The atmosphere was sweet, scenic, and cozy, with a waitress who provided top-notch service. She truly added character to the place. The food was also excellent, especially the brunch eggs, bacon, and toast.
