A local gem, the restaurant impresses with its generous portion sizes and affordable prices, typically around $10. Diners rave about the flavorful chicken fried rice and the standout kung pao chicken. However, concerns arise regarding consistency, particularly with food safety and spiciness levels. Many diners miss in-house dining and complimentary soup with lunch specials. The restaurant is praised for its accommodating vegan options, friendly service, and swift delivery. While the overall experience offers a mix of highs and lows, the welcoming atmosphere and appealing flavors keep patrons considering a return visit.
They're always so good about making sure items are vegan if requested, and have a vegetarian menu. They suggest yummy items too! I recommend the Tofu Vegetable Soup, and the chicken dishes are really good too!
The highlight of this restaurant is definitely the generous portions, each around $10. Based on recommendations, we tried the chicken fried rice, which had excellent flavor. If we return, I would likely go for the vegetable porridge. While the chicken was tasty overall, it had an unusual sponge-like texture. Although it wasn't anything groundbreaking, it was still quite enjoyable. The kung pao chicken was fantastic, with a wonderful sauce. We decided to add beef to the dish, and we preferred the beef’s texture. Next time, I think I'll order the beef and broccoli.
Just a message to the owners they need to start checking temperature on food as well as starting timers on food and definitely stay away from cross-contamination meaning do not cook chicken with pork with beef etc. I cannot handle pork so I never order anything with pork I did order some orange chicken and some shrimp prawns a couple of weeks ago and got severely sick from it. I'm not going to bash them because overall their food is good, very very nice people but nowadays I know people are not too nice and they will be causing issues if they would have got as sick as I did. The food was either bad or they got pork juice or something on the chicken or prawns.

The chicken was a bit dry, but everything else was good. The chow mein wasn’t greasy, which I appreciated. The food didn’t take long to cook, and they ask how many items you want, plus they include cookies. They still follow the 6-foot distancing rule, and it’s takeout only, which I like because there isn’t much traffic.
