The food at this restaurant is excellent! I especially enjoy the Friday night snack menu, which pairs perfectly with a glass (or three) of wine. I recently had lunch at this restaurant with my 7-year-old son. Right from the start, he was made to feel special, so it is definitely child-friendly. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, earning top marks in my book. The food was excellent, with the Chowder combo being a standout dish that I highly recommend for seafood lovers. The chicken, pesto, and sundried tomato sandwich was also delicious. This is definitely a must-visit spot in West Cork, especially in Clonakilty. I plan on returning later to try out their impressive selection of top-shelf spirits. Highly recommended.
We had a fantastic staff party at this restaurant last night. The barbecue they provided exceeded my expectations, and the staff were flawless. The atmosphere was also fantastic. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Scannells Bar for a night out I will never forget!
