Was Josh Murphy at Izzy's a mag?
I ordered a half Reuben at Izzy's and it was absolutely delicious! It was my first time trying a Reuben, but I can see why Izzy's is famous for it. The sandwich was tasty, and the potato pancake was also very good. The chicken noodle soup wasn't the best, but overall the meal was delicious. I will definitely be returning to Izzy's in the future. What Laura D dislikes about Izzy's:
The food at this restaurant was disappointing. The sandwich bread and potato pancake were soggy and tasteless, and the pasta salad was overly sweet and served in a small portion for the price. Additionally, the carrot cake icing lacked tanginess and tasted more like cinnamon roll icing. Overall, not a great dining experience. View all feedback.
Izzy's corned beef sandwich is consistently delicious, tender, and full of flavor. The potato pancake has a crispy exterior and a tender interior - I always order two because they are so filling. I also recommend trying the beef barley soup with a side of rye bread for dipping - it is amazing!

The corned beef was delicious and cooked perfectly. The potato pancake was crispy on the outside and fully cooked on the inside. It was delicious. The applesauce was fantastic. Everything was great!
Friend told me to go there for a good deli size sandwich. Boy, was he wrong! I got a pastrami on rye that would be a child size at most decent delis I’ve been to. To make it worse , it was more money than one at Blue Ash deli which stacked a lot more meat on it. Take a pass.
