Chateau De Haute-serre - Cieurac

What Lorraine S likes about Chateau De Haute-serre:
We visited for dinner and were blown away by the menu excellent food, particularly for the price. The setting is gorgeous and the building is charming. They were able to cater, with a couple of days notice, for a Vegan in our party, and their food was outstanding too. The staff are super helpful and even provided a warm welcome for our family dog. On our way from Sarlat to Toulouse on a Sunday and interested in Cahors wines and good food, we found the Chateau de Haute-Serre. After several GPS dead-ends, we finally found the beautiful Chateau and restaurant on the hilltop at 1300 where the signs on the door said it should be open and the web site still saying it was open.
