Soco is a breakthrough in Merida bread making. Their bread is excellent, top-notch quality, matching all the best European baking. I was shown the sourdough leaven for the next batch of bread. Unfortunately, at noon it was already gone and I had to settle for a pumpernickel, which was also excellent. The only downside is the high price but once in a while, it is worth having a feast.
Just received our first loaves (wheat, rye pumpernickle wonderful bread! Nice crust, excellent, uniform texture and BIG loaves (almost 1 kg! . Outstanding taste highly recommended! 8|
Finally! Delicious sourdough in Merida...made by Andres, a master sourdough artist. No shop yet, but coming, and for now pick up or delivered hot to your door for bigger orders! 5 flavors and well priced for huge loaves...
Just tried the bread for the first time. It is outstanding. The bread was still hot, crust chewy and delicious, bread flavorful, dense and soft. Will absolutely order again. Best bread I've tasted here in Mexico!! Best of luck to you guys!!!
