Soco is a breakthrough in Merida bread making. Their bread is excellent, top-notch quality, matching all the best European baking. I was shown the sourdough leaven for the next batch of bread. Unfortunately, at noon it was already gone and I had to settle for a pumpernickel, which was also excellent. The only downside is the high price but once in a while, it is worth having a feast.
Beautiful European style breads, with an amazing crust and excellent chew. The croissants and pain au chocolat are a real treat too flaky and delicious.
Delicious breads! The sourdough is almost like a rustic French a crunch on the outside and deliciosness inside. I will definitely be a regular client for myself and for my hotel, Villa Verde Merida!
