This is a lovely Japanese restaurant in a casual setting. The folk are always welcoming with great efficient service. There 's a great selection of dishes, ramen, udon, curry and even steak and hamburger (without the bun) dishes. The hamburger building is pretty unique in that if you sit around the edge, the sound shell effect means you can hear quite well what someone during on the other side of the room is saying.... The ramen here has always been good, the chashu pork that they serve with the ramen is the best and melt in your mouth in Christchurch. Unfortunately, the wait times for the restaurant can be atrocious. Waited for roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes (1hr 15min? wasn't keeping a close eye on it) for 2 ramens to be served.
