Absolutely disgusting service, avoid at all cost. The woman who seems to be the manager was so rude. It got to the bill and they had put on a £25 service charge for service that was appalling, normally we would pay the service charge if the service is up to standard but however the women didn’t even crack a smile and was rude the whole time. The female employee at this restaurant is extremely impolite and should improve her customer service skills. It is disappointing because the food is actually quite delicious. Very nice after a long hike with my girlfriend we needed a relaxing dinner, and boy did this place deliver amazing food, excellent staff and lovely atmosphere. Only thing was had to pay a quite hefty amount we had to payfor vegetables, that we were not told were extra with meat. Just like from the sweet trolly had a couple of strawberries with cream that cost £8.40. Overall, it is a lovely and outstanding restaurant! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I had a lunch with a friend at Rucola yesterday, never again. The food was awful, uncooked salmon was presented so I asked it to be taken away to get cooked properly. In two minutes they returned my dish, salmon had a funny non-fresh smell so I could not eat it. The staff even would not ask if I was happy with my main course, I was charged in full despite it was left untouched on my plate. First time ever I left the restaurant without having anything to eat. There was some roasted potatoes on side in addition to that salmon, but it was too salty to eat. Very disappointed with the food indeed. I was not impressed with the service either.
