Uncle Julio's is a popular choice for many diners, with a mixed bag of reviews. While some customers praise the friendly and attentive service, others express disappointment with slow service and mistakes in their orders. The restaurant seems to have inconsistencies in the quality of food and service, with some diners experiencing long wait times for their meals and others finding hairs in their food. Despite these issues, some customers still appreciate the comfortable ambience and delicious food, vowing to return. Ultimately, Uncle Julio's may be hit or miss depending on the day and time of visit.
I went to Uncle Julio's thinking it was more of a drink spot but it's actually a sit down Tex-Mex dinner type of place.
This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case.
Pleasantly surprised that this great restaurant was open on New Year's Day! Even more surprised that they had a zucchini spaghetti dish on special - yummy! And ... panna cotta !!! Yum!
