Saltwater Grill, a Galveston staple, has recently updated their menu with new offerings while keeping some of their classic dishes. The Shanghai Delight dish is a favorite among customers. The grilled redfish was cooked perfectly, although the absence of bread at the beginning of the meal was disappointing. Despite the noise in the restaurant, the overall experience was positive with friendly service and a nice ambiance. The cocktails looked impressive and the food was described as amazing, with seasonal and non-seasonal options available. Customers also praised the small plate offerings, such as the chorizo stuffed quail and jamon Serrano. The desserts were a standout, making it a great dining experience. Despite some menu changes and disappointments, the service and food quality at Saltwater Grill were praised by many patrons, making it a recommended dining spot in Galveston.
My first time in Chicago and decided to check this place out because the reviews looked really good.
Came here last night with a large group of peopleThis was our second time in this establishment.
PATATAS BRAVAS - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these potatoes were a hit with everyone at the table. The spicy tomato sauce on top added a nice kick to the dish. CHURROS CON CHOCOLATE - a classic dessert done right. The churros were crispy and sweet, and the chocolate dipping sauce was rich and decadent. Overall, we had a great experience at this restaurant and would definitely recommend trying the pan con tomate and patatas bravas. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We will be back for sure!
We LOVED Salero from the first plate to the last. We ordered the paella and a few small plates to round out the meal and each one was better than the last. Everything was perfectly seasoned, well balanced and just delicious! We highly recommend Salero. The food alone would be enough to bring us back but I have to mention the service which was amazing! Hands down, one of the best overall dining experiences we have had. And that's saying a lot! P.S. GET THE FLAN! :
This was her second time dining at Salero, and we were pleasantly surprised during our first visit by how much we enjoyed the atmosphere, the service, and especially the food. The second visit did not disappoint either. We love the unexpected and delightful seasonal menu options. We will definitely be returning!
