Feedback
The restaurant itself is described as a bit run-down, but the service staff is noted to be kind and attentive. Dishes like hummus, falafel, and kebabs have received positive feedback, with many diners enjoying the warm pita bread and flavorful fillings. The owner and staff are also commended for their friendly and welcoming demeanor. Despite some mixed reviews, Old Jerusalem seems to have its fair share of loyal customers who appreciate the authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and the family atmosphere of the restaurant. With dishes like Labneh, kebabs, and baklawa receiving praise for their taste and quality, this restaurant appears to be a solid choice for those looking for a taste of Lebanon and the Middle East in the Midwest.
I took my parents here because they have never been to BYOB restaurant and wanted to see what it's about.
My husband and I were walking down NWells today looking for a place to grab lunch around 2:30.
Hostess seated us promptly. Breakfast choices are buffet or menu - we ordered off the menu. Healthy choices are noted on the menu and I had the avocado and poached egg on toast. The entree was delivered within 20 minutes and was served hot. The menu prices are commensurate with a Waldorf Astoria but a bit pricey for the Orlando area.
If there is less than a star rating then this place surly deserves it. I had my share of middle Eastern food to know when it is good and when it is bad. This place still cant make it ti bad!!! I gor some kunafeh, hareesa and baklava, just dessert that the owner just promised it is fresh. Got home tried a bite of each, they used old old oil, may be after the frying that oil becomes the for desert but it has a strong taste that made me throw up tge minute I bit on it. Horrible. Over charge is one thing but selling you this garbage is a different dimension of bad restaurants! Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
