First and foremost, make sure to make a reservation! We stayed next door at the Palmer Hotel. The food, service, and decor were all excellent! Don't miss the Tom and Jerry cocktail—it's unique and delicious! We tried the ribs and prime rib, both of which were fantastic! The bartenders were friendly and had a great sense of humor. This place is a must-visit when you're in Chicago!
The most awful pub I've been in. More like Guantanamo Bay than a pub. Every single staff member treats you as if you are a huge nuisance for coming in. The people at the door scowl at you, and as soon as we sat at the bar, the barwoman said “You need to order something to sit there.” when we challenged her and the staff, she ran away. The staff at the door were miserable and did not care and seemed to think it's normal behaviour to be totally miserable
This restaurant is fantastic! The Chicken Pot Pie was delicious, and the atmosphere is lovely.
This traditional pub is famous for its Chicago-style burgers, fish and chips, and steaks. Unfortunately, during our visit to celebrate our 25th anniversary on December 31, 2022, while staying at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel, we had a disappointing experience. My husband ordered salmon, and I had fish and chips. While the food was good, it didn't justify the high prices. Our bill came to $66, but we were charged $114, which led us to dispute the amount with American Express. It turned out to be a very unhappy anniversary for us.
