Have been going to this restaurant for a number of years and just love it. Always a warm and friendly welcome and excellent service. The atmosphere is very cosy and a roaring log fire greets you on colder days. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. There is always a good specials board in addition to the regular menu. Fish dishes are very tasty as are the pasta and meat choices. There is a very good wine list.... View all feedback.

I dropped into this pub before an engagement at the Village Hall nearby, for a light bite. I poled up to the bar, and straight away was told that this pub doesn't have bottled cola, only on tap!! (How odd) I then asked if they did food, to which I received a very curt reply from the barman. I tried to engage him in friendly chat, but he was having none of it.
