We were drawn to this charming village pub by the presence of a beautiful open field where we could camp overnight, complete with showers, toilets, water, and electric hook-ups. We decided to try camping off the grid for the first time and chose to stay at this local campsite for a night. We booked a grass pitch without electric hook up. We dined at the restaurant (outdoors because of covid) and found the food to be delicious, hot, well presented, and the staff were friendly.
