This meal was a total joy from beginning to end and I would heartily recommend going there to anyone who likes food. The menu will introduce you to new things but there is so much care and attention given to the composition of each dish that unfamiliar ingredients will not be intimidating. The food is worth the journey to Carmel alone but it is also worth staying overnight. View all feedback.

We have seen simon rogan once on a British TV program and have since been using to come here. the hotel is located in the small but beautiful village cartmel in the lake.
The presentation and the course of the tasting menu were excellent. the dessert was mediocre, but no one comes to these restaurants right for the desserts? I had one.

I've never had a 3* dining experience before and this completely blew me away. Everything was beyond my expectations; depth of flavours, variety of dishes, presentation, service, welcome, knowledge of the food, surroundings, wines and the understated dining environment. The visit to the kitchen was a particular treat which I wasn't expecting. My partner and I spent 4 and a half hours here and every moment was a sensory treat.
Wow, it was a big celebration so we decided to take the plunge Out of this world It comes at a price but so worth it Staff made it though, plenty of time to engage with customers, very attentive Im saving up already for another visit
