I love sugar rays! an excellent addition to our small coast. bank holiday Monday and it was hot! the coast was full and the sugar rays were busy. 4 employees. 1 beautiful dame at the time that warned us (before taking our gelding) that due to the previous orders our milkshakes (4 of them, all different) would wait about 15 minutes. 3 other workers who set up the commands and bring them out. 15 minutes later, all 4 mi... there were two of my grandchildren and my older mother, the place was not busy that we placed our order and waited and waited and waited. there were two employees who did not move very quickly, the theke gave a wiping process that made our order. a milkshake came two minutes later another milkshake two minutes still the third milkshake was ready for a coffee! finally the coffee came. now I have given this rating 5 st... Lovley place with friendly staff, food is great and its also dog friendly. We come often and we are never disappointed
Took 3 of our grandchildren hoping it would be a positive experience. Nothing special about the waffles , they sell Cart D’or ice cream but don’t use that on the waffles , ice cream was cheap , small drizzle of syrup served on a paper plate with wooden cutlery and no serviettes . The photo will show what the 3 children thought by what they left on their paper plates . Absolutely do not recommend.
My daughter and her friend had a lovely time at Suagr Rays. They both chose the chocolate milkshake and they were gone within minutes so they must have been good. There are so many choices available and not only milkshakes but pancakes, waffles, sundaes … the list is endless. Staff were polite, service was quick and venue clean and tidy what more could you want from a great value treat for the kids (and adults too .
A great ice cream cafe on the seafront! It’s hard to find somewhere like this on Canvey, but this is an assured trip whenever we come down for the arcades. The sundaes are amazing, and the new ice cream trays are top notch. We visited after school on Friday for a treat. The lady was lovely and welcoming. Our order consisted of a hot dog which was delicious and two waffles. One with Nutella and banana beautiful! And one with bubblegum ice cream and bubblegum millions to top it. The food was lovely. We didn’t feel rushed at all and it was really child friendly. We will certainly be back!
