Despite some dishes being lackluster, the service was generally good. Visitors praised the warm and welcoming environment, as well as the owner's tips on local attractions. A family gathering was accommodated flawlessly, garnering a 5-star rating. Overall, it's a place recommended for friendly service and good food, especially the Sunday roast.
What User likes about The Cottage Inn:
Called here today for lunch on the way to Carmarthen. Was pleasantly surprised at the standard of food served, the service was quick and the waitresses very welcoming. The pub itself was olde world and cosy. We will certainly eat there again. View all feedback.
What yss97 doesn't like about The Cottage Inn:
We went for a Sunday lunch. There were a choice of roast meats available. We tried the Welsh black beef. Unfortunately, the beef was quite standard and dry at the edges. The roast potatoes were dry and tasteless. However, the other vegetables that came with the dish were better and generous in quantity. Adequate meal but nothing special. The pub itself was nice with a log fire and friendly staff. View all feedback.
