This was my first time visiting this restaurant, but when I saw they had vegan crepes on the menu, I knew I had to give them a try! I ordered the Amazing strawberry banana crepe with vegan Nutella, and it was truly delicious. I was so hungry that I almost ordered a second one, but one was actually enough to satisfy my appetite. The Nutella was very decadent and they spread it both on the inside and outside of the crepe. I think next time I'll ask for the Nutella to be on either the inside or outside, but not both, as it was quite rich and made me very thirsty. Overall, a great choice for #Veganuary!
Froglanders Crepes Yogurt is a charming local shop with two locations in La Jolla on Pearl St and Carlsbad on State St. Shah, the owner, went above and beyond to be helpful, kind, and knowledgeable, and he made us some delicious crepes!
The delicious vegan crepe is really tasty! It has a hint of daiya cheese flavor, which may not be for everyone, but I personally enjoy it!
Awesome yogurt (I'm a classic tart lover and it hit the spot. Great selection of other flavors as well. Easy self serve. Pay by size not weight which is honestly nicer and less stressful. My partner got the cinnamon roll crepe which was deliciously creamyand sweet but just the perfect amount. Open until 10:30pm so a perfect place to hit at sunset or coming back from dinner ordrinks. But above all, the service was top notch. The owner was a wonderful person and made this an experience beyond justgetting yogurt. It's truly a special thing to feel like someone is easy to know and chat with even in the span of a handful ofminutes. At a time when life is hectic and busy, it's worth stopping by to slow down, get something yummy, and have a nice chat.Highly recommend!
I have visited few times to this place and my fav there is item no:1 Amazing with a scoop of Gelato, very delicious with a good combination of warm crepe and cold gelato . Staff is super friendly and welcoming . Must try .
