Very enjoyable experience at Lively catch Staff very courteous and attentive and food was faultless. Hubby and I enjoyed our 2 courses seafood platter immensely. Highly recommend
Had a really enjoyable date night there, Robert was our waiter who was not only very attentive but very friendly and provided far beyond expected service, made us feel very welcome. We got the seafood platter, served over several courses and it was very enjoyable, great mix and well matched for each course leaving us very happy with our choice, serving sizes were great too, had just enough room left to share a desert which was also very delicious. We will certainly be back. Thank you for hosting us :
Nice local homely restaurant. Service was exceptional, menu had some variety but needed more seafood options. Prices were above average. Lots of parking, Street and council carparks.
First time here, good on some levels but a disappointing night for me. I 'd checked my dietary issues before booking, told them on ordering, gave my allergy/medical card to waitress. My scallops (white and bland, not seared) came without the puree (it did come separately) but with a salad with raw onion which my card specifically said I could not eat. Again the salad with lobster had the onion. Waste of food. The menu has a 'while you wait ' section which includes oysters. We ordered 12 to share, yet entrees came out first. A bit of discussion and we had our oysters first, but it was annoying and an unnecessary inconvenience. This is not a cheap restaurant, but doubt I 'll return. It is always stressful for someone with dietary restrictions to eat out, more so when one had been assured all would be fine.
