The Plymouth Arms restaurant received mixed reviews from diners. While some enjoyed their Sunday lunch and found the food to be delicious and good value for money, others were disappointed by the limited vegetarian options and high prices of drinks. The staff were praised for being friendly and helpful, but there were some issues with dessert not being clearly described and food not being served at the optimal temperature. Overall, the restaurant was described as beautifully decorated with excellent service, and many diners expressed a willingness to visit again despite some shortcomings. The location in St. Fagan's was noted as a nice place for tasty eating with a good variety of choices on the menu.
What SusanH likes about The Plymouth Arms:
Thoroughly enjoyed a very tasty meal at the Plymouth arms in St Fagan's. There was plenty of choice and I would say it is well worth a visit. We had a three course meal which was good value and will be returning there soon I would think. Am happy to recommend this place View all feedback.
What Taru Marjomaa doesn't like about The Plymouth Arms:
Two of us had Sunday lunch. My friend thought her prawn cocktail very average. The rest of the meal I had dessert) was very good.I did feel it was quite expensive for a Sunday lunch as there wasn't the usual Sunday"set price Menu (depending on number of courses but all was individually priced and so with courses each , a glass of wine each and a tip for the excellent service) we paid each .
