I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent, and I enjoyed a refreshing Erdinger wheat beer. For lunch, I found both the food and service to be top-notch, earning a perfect score of 5. The atmosphere was also fantastic, making it an overall delightful visit.

As a Namibian who regularly enjoys German food, I can confidently say that this restaurant delivers. While the staff could benefit from some pronunciation lessons—like saying "Spätzle" correctly—Im Eimer has its own unique charm, similar to Joe's Beerhouse in Windhoek. This is definitely a place worth returning to. The Eisbein is the best in South Africa, served with genuine German mustard, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes. Highly recommend dining in!
I had a lovely, laid-back Christmas Eve dinner at this rustic restaurant. I always go for the Hawaiian Schnitzel, which comes with two pieces on your plate—perfect to share or if you're not a big eater! The Eisbein is incredibly crispy and utterly delicious. There are plenty of side dishes to choose from, too. If you can, I recommend preordering the Eisbein to minimize your wait time. Overall, a great dining experience!
