I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful restaurant hidden in gardens with charming decor and friendly staff. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The ambiance was okay, but the food was not great. Ordered steak (medium) the one side was burnt, my knife could not cut through it. I sent it back, the second steak came out well done and dry even though I ordered medium. When the bill came, the manager did not charge for the steak (which was fair) but don't think I will be back. I was pleasantly surprised to come across a charming restaurant nestled in Gardens, with a lovely atmosphere and welcoming staff! The cozy decor truly made me feel at home. I ordered the Beef Bourguignon, and was impressed by how well it was prepared, both in presentation and taste. The wine selection was outstanding, with a variety of delightful whites and full-bodied reds. The Graham Beck champagne stood out as a favorite for me. For dessert, I chose the Rum Baba, but also enjoyed a taste of my partner's creme brulee. I can't wait to visit this hidden gem again soon!
This restaurant is excellent! I loved the decor and the ambiance. The service was impeccable and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the beef tartare and the pork loin. The prices are very reasonable for such an upscale establishment. Keep up the great work, guys!
I visited The Stack for the second time yesterday evening and I absolutely loved it! The cocktails made by Derrick are fantastic. The atmosphere is great and the staff is so friendly. We received excellent service from a young African lady, although I can't recall her name. I would highly recommend The Stack to anyone. I absolutely adore it.

Great private members club open to everyone for lunch and dinner. I recommend lunch. Not too busy, lovely food, very peaceful surroundings for central Cape Town.
