The Southerner - Cape Girardeau

What Cheeto Whitman likes about The Southerner:
Visiting from the OC for a church conference and was treated to this gem. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, but the food was center stage. The charcuterie board, the cornbread, the Not Your Mama's Meatloaf was ridiculously superb, along with the garlic mashed potatoes and the bacon green beans. Manager was rude. Asked us to move to a booth if we were just going to sit and talk after our meal. Said they had a reservation for our table. Other tables were open. No one was standing waiting. View all feedback.
