During the pandemic, most coffee houses in the CB area were closed, so I decided to try Sea Level. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent daily baked goods they offer, in addition to their great espresso. If Sleepy Monk is closed, I definitely recommend Sea Level as a fantastic alternative. I used to be a fan but....don't order online! They won't actually fill your order. They will charge you but when you drive down to go pick it up, they will tell you they are sold out. When you seem confused and say, but that is why I ordered online, to reserve it they will give you one of three excuses...1) that they got busy or 2) that the website wasn't updated, or 3) your order got lost or something.
