Dee's Bakery has a loyal following for its butter tarts, with customers raving about the variety of delicious flavors. However, some have noted a decline in the quality of the tarts since the bakery's move to a new location in Cambridge. Issues with undercooked pastry and concerns about cleanliness due to a dog in the bakery have been raised. Despite these criticisms, many still praise Dee's for its mouth-watering butter tarts and savory pies. Overall, Dee's Bakery remains popular for its sweet treats and friendly service, but there are mixed reviews regarding consistency and quality.

Dee's has set the bench mark for butter tarts. By far they are number 1 for butter tarts They offer I believe 16 different tarts, I only have only tried 3 different ones. They will ship across Canada for you if needed. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Dees Bakery:
I used to go to Dee's original location all the time and loved their tarts. They were big and the tarts dripped down your chin with goodness. Went to the new location in Cambridge and sadly these are not the same tarts at all. They weren't good. They were much smaller. The pastry had a rancid taste and the centres weren't soft at all. The centre didn't even taste very good. The small tart was mostly pastry. Very disa... View all feedback.
This bakery is lovely! It's a shame that it's only open until November 30th. I appreciate that they stay open until 6 p.m., as most bakeries close much earlier. They have a few parking spots available. The food was delicious, especially their huge peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, which was slightly greasy but delightful. I regret not buying more to freeze, as Dee's is closing. I also tried a variety of tarts, including pecan, Skor, coconut, peanut butter chocolate chip, strawberry, and Nanaimo. They were all tasty, except for the strawberry one, which tasted artificial. The pecan tart was my favorite; I would definitely order it again. Surprisingly, their tarts were runny, but I actually enjoyed them, even though I usually prefer firmer tarts. Dee's has changed my opinion on runny tarts.
High quality goods. It's organized, clean. Prices were fair and staff was friendly. I tried the oatmeal cookies, peanut butter tarts, skor tarts, and butterscotch tarts. They all tastes good One of my managers recommended it to me and it was worth the drive.
The butter tarts here are delicious! I love how there are so many flavours. I really liked the Skor one!
The butter tarts at this restaurant are still the best ever, maintaining the same high quality since they were located on Highway 97. They have a flaky crust and a delicious runny filling, with options including traditional plain, raisin, pecan, and other varieties.
