I found the food generally in Madeira to be quite bland but the food in this restaurant is cooked beautifully, and presented so nicely. The restaurant is extremely clean, tastefully furnished, and in a wonderful position overlooking the sea. The kitchen is visible from the restaurant and it is very clean. We have eaten at this place before. Our first visit was just after this Restaurant opened which was quite a few years ago.It was very good. I think the place must have changed hands . Because our last visit was not a good experience .Like another reviewer we found the fish overcooked and dry. I need not say any more.
